The new direction for our hellhounds with the sentient castle, ancient betrayals, a different take on gargoyle magic, the love between Damon and Redford, plus getting to see all the other hounds. I was in tears when the castle showed them how it was betrayed. Poor Alastair. Looking forward to JC and Dragomir. And I wondered if Finn the fox shifter might be a hound’s mate but apparently not… Highly recommended.

This is a lovely, low angst book. I particularly appreciated the way that Lisa had Sobek be so very, very respectful of Rudy's beliefs when he was courting him, although Rudy did not know he was being courted. Sobek learned to do amazing things for an ancient god, with the assistance of the Paulie app. (I love the Paulie app ...) He fixed plumbing and squeaky doors, painted walls, and set up a nursery for the new infant in the family. Truly, I had never heard of Sobek before reading this book, but he is now one of my favorite gods. NICE guy.

Lisa Oliver never disappoints! The story is cute, quirky and entertaining! It ended abruptly, but I can’t wait for the next part to come out! Enjoy! As Lisa says, “Love Wins!”

I adore Cillian and Julian!!! This is chock full of everything I love about this author’s books - fates mates, lots of love, shenanigans, found family, acceptance of who you really are. Cillian may be an Eldritch guardian and have a voice that can dissolve into unreal harmonics as well is as shadows that have a mind of their own, but he is still worthy of finding his beacon. The whole idea of Cillian and his brothers is worth a read. Julian sees Cillian and vice versa. Amazing book and I can wait for Rook’s book.

What can I say but these are such fun reads! A little mystery, a little corruption, murder and magic. Add is some vampire mage heat and you have a great read, in what I hope becomes more of a series. (Hint hint) Same great characters are back, best to have read the first book but not essential as the previous plot was referred to briefly when needed. I’ve read a few hundred books between the first book and this one, so my memory was none existent, but I had no problems getting into the groove with Ant and Viktor.
